How long does the scent last?+

The medium pod lasts around 3–4 days per application; the small pod around 2–3 days. In warmer weather the oil evaporates faster, so you may need to top up more often. Simply add more drops when the scent starts to fade — no need to wait until it's fully gone.

Is it safe with no flame or electricity?+

Absolutely. The Banksia pod diffuses passively at room temperature with no heat source. Completely safe around children and pets.

Are any two pods identical?+

Never — and that's what makes each pod special. Every Banksia Grandis seed pod is a unique product of nature with its own pattern of holes, texture and character.

Can I use the pod as a decorative piece?+

Definitely! The Banksia pod is as beautiful as it is functional. Many customers display them on bookshelves, coffee tables, and bedside tables.

Essential Oils
Can I use any essential oil?+

Yes! Any 100% pure essential oil works beautifully. We recommend eucalyptus, lavender, mandarin, lemon myrtle, or tea tree. Do not use fragrance oils or synthetic perfumes as these may clog the pod's pores.

How do I change scents?+

Let the current scent fully fade naturally. Then apply your new oil. Place the pod in direct sunlight for a day to speed up the transition.

How much oil should I use?+

Mini pod: 5–8 drops. Medium pod: 8–12 drops. Large pod: 12–20 drops. Add more for a stronger fragrance.

Yes, we ship worldwide. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by their destination country.

30-day return policy on all products. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll arrange a return and full refund.

What does the lifetime guarantee cover?+

Any structural failure — cracking, breaking, or loss of porosity. If this happens at any point, we replace your pod free of charge including postage within Australia.

How do I make a guarantee claim?+

Contact us via our contact page with a photo of the issue and your original order details. We process all claims within 2 business days.
