The diffuser is a genuine Banksia Grandis seed pod, hand-selected from naturally fallen pods in the Western Australian bush. Its porous structure — formed as the pod dispersed its seeds — holds essential oil and releases it slowly through every hole. The stand is cut from a second pod and finished by hand; it catches any excess oil and lifts the pod so the scent carries. No two grain patterns are alike.
The oil is 10ml of 100% pure Australian eucalyptus — no fillers, no synthetic fragrance, no carrier oils — roughly three months of use. The glass vase holds a fresh eucalyptus sprig or a cutting from the garden; the Double Vase set includes two.
Every pod is naturally unique. Sustainably sourced from Western Australia, assembled and shipped from our base in Brisbane.
Step 1 — Set it up: Place the stand where you want the scent — bedside table, bathroom shelf, entryway, desk. Sit the pod on top. Slot the glass vase into the stand and add a little water with a fresh cutting or eucalyptus sprig.
Step 2 — Add the oil: Remove the cork and add 7–15 drops of the included eucalyptus oil directly onto the pod. Replace the cork. Fragrance begins straight away — no power, no heat, no waiting.
Step 3 — Top up: Add another 7–15 drops every 3–4 days. You don't need to wait for the scent to fade completely. In summer the oil evaporates faster, so you may top up more often.
Changing scent: Leave the pod uncovered overnight so the current oil dries out, then add the new one. Any 100% pure essential oil works — try eucalyptus in winter, mandarin in summer, lavender in the bedroom.
Care: Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the oil. Wipe the stand with a dry cloth if needed. Change the vase water weekly. Indoor use only.
